Interview by Paul Salfen
The film follows a suburban mom as she struggles to find the culprit behind an online identity theft she falls victim to, which brings her and her son’s new girlfriend through the twisting back woods of Americana. The film, often praised for its ‘Lynchian touch,’ is driven by two sensitive performances by Parisse and Birney while the world comes to life with the vibrant flock of supporting, oddball characters that all seem to defy the expectations of their roles. Almost like a modern fable, it’s been praised on the festival curcuit and we’re thrilled to soon be bringing it to Fandor for streaming and wide VOD release in the U.S. in just a week.
