Movie Minute by Paul Salfen
In theaters this weekend is Avengers: Infinity War, which will be one of the largest releases of the year- and may even break some records. Without spoilers, I can tell you that this one is a lot of fun and does not disappoint. Even with the two hour and 40 minute running time, it still leaves you wanting more, which, of course, you’ll have to wait a year for. Almost all of the old favorites return and each get their hero moments, much to the delight of the audience. It almost plays out like a greatest hits, with a special emphasis on super villain Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, who gives the audience a little bit more than just a big one-sided bad guy. As promised, not everyone makes it to the end, but some of that remains to be seen in the next part. But not all of the rumors you heard were true. So try to go in with an open mind – and a few hours to spare but be ready for a ton of visual stimulation, which is part of the reason we go for the big screen experience, isn’t it?
