On Friday, December 2nd, Paramount+ hosted the World Premiere of “1923” in Los Angeles at the Hollywood American Legion Post 43. Attendees included “1923” cast members Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Timothy Dalton, Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, Jennifer Ehle, Leenah Robinson, Peter Stormare, Sebastian Roché, Tim DeKay and executive producers David Glasser and David Hutkin. Immediately following, guests made their way to Motherwolf for a post-screening celebration. Upon arrival guests were ushered into a 1920’s gilded space and treated to themed cocktails, Deejayed music featuring live jazz trumpet accompaniment, calligraphy station and rustic leather engraved keepsakes.
“1923,” the next installment of the Dutton family origin story, will introduce a new generation of Duttons led by patriarch Jacob (Ford) and matriarch Cara (Mirren). The series will explore the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.
In addition to Ford and Mirren, “1923” also stars Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, and Jerome Flynn.
In addition to the Dec. 18th premiere on Paramount+, Paramount Network will also host a linear airing of the “1923” debut episode, immediately following a new episode of “Yellowstone,” as a special simulcast event.
