Interview by Paul Salfen
The legendary and GRAMMY®-winning Texican blues-rock trio Los Lonely Boys are hitting the road in 2025! Starting February 7 in Roswell, NM, their tour will feature fan-favorites like “Heaven” and “More Than Love”, plus fresh tracks from their first album in over a decade, Resurrection. The band came to prominence for their hit “Heaven,” and rose to the spotlight in 2004.
In this interview Henry Garza talks to Paul Salfen about the musical journey of Los Lonely Boys, the importance of family and the new album and tour.
The tour will see the Boys joining forces with incredible tourmates Del Castillo, Steel Pulse, Cristeros, Texican Legacy, and Los Lobos, and the Garza brothers—Henry, Jojo, and Ringo—promise a night of incredible music that blends rock, blues, country, soul, and Tejano like no other.
As their latest album marked the band coming off a hiatus, Jojo Garza (bass guitar, vocals) explains, “The inspiration of the album title Resurrection comes from the fact that we were off the radar for three years which in “Creator” time would be three days. On the third day we became a new thing. Still Los Lonely Boys, but a renewed version of ourselves. It is a perfect reflection of how we tour, how we write and how we make things move in and around our camp.”
