Review by Paul Salfen
This is Paul Salfen with your KLAK Movie Minute brought to you by KYO online pharmacy. Available online now is Stream, an extreme horror flick from the producers of the ultra popular Terrifier series. This one follows a family going on a vacation that of course ends up at the wrong hotel when four killers terrorize everyone inside with sadistic games and gruesome kills. Starring a handful of genre favorites like The Re-Animator himself Jeffrey Combs and Halloween franchise favorite Danielle Harris and featuring the likes of Dee Wallace, the late Tony Todd, David Howard Thornton and even an unexpected appearance by the legendary Tim Curry, this feast for the bloodthirsty eyes will delight those that make the rounds at horror conventions and wish that every day was Halloween. But for those unfamiliar with the extreme gore that the name Damien Leone means in the special effects world, they’re in for a surprise that may test their limits. But director Michael Leavy knows that and he delivers exactly what the most rabid of horror fans want: lots of blood, a little skin, genre fan service, and the open door for a franchise. That’s it for this week. Join me next week and every week for another Movie Minute right here on 97.5 KLAK, AMFM Magazine, and RECRD.
